{"id":7282,"date":"2026-05-29T15:55:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T15:55:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agse.pt\/?p=7282"},"modified":"2026-05-29T15:55:27","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T15:55:27","slug":"projeto-scifine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agse.pt\/en\/projeto-scifine\/","title":{"rendered":"SCIFine Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AGSE is a partner in the project.\u00a0<em><strong>SCIFine \u2013 Scientific Capacity through Inquiry for Foundational Impact and Networked Engagement<\/strong><\/em>, funded by\u00a0<strong>Erasmus+ Programme<\/strong>, within the scope of the action\u00a0<strong><em>Forward-Looking Projects<\/em> School Education<\/strong> and coordinated by Mentortec.<\/p>\n<p>Given the increasing importance of integrating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills into the early stages of education in European education systems, this project aims to promote scientific literacy and the development of STEM skills from preschool to the first cycle of basic education. It focuses on empowering educators and teachers to implement more effective pedagogical practices in science and mathematics, contributing to improved student performance, strengthening basic literacy from the earliest stages of education, and raising awareness of this issue among school principals.<\/p>\n<p>The project consortium, composed of 27 members from higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, schools, and public entities...\u00a0<strong>Portugal<\/strong>, from the <strong>Croatia <\/strong>and from<strong> Slovenia<\/strong>, held its first in-person meeting in Matosinhos, on the 5th and 6th of this month of May.
