Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Infante D. Pedro School Group, Penela, for the four-year period 2026-2030.

It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 7741/2026/02which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Group of Schools Infante D. Pedro, Penela.

In accordance with Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, it is hereby made public that the following is open, by 10 business days deadline, Starting the day after the publication of this Notice in the Official Gazette, the competitive procedure for filling the position of Director of Infante D. Pedro School Group, Penela, for the four-year period 2026/2030.

Requirements and application process

To the Applications must be formalized through an application form., in its own model, available in Group's website and in the Administrative Services of the Group, addressed to the President of the General Council of the Infante D. Pedro School Group, in Penela.

Applications may be submitted in person to the Administrative Services of the school headquarters of the Group (between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm), or sent to the attention of the President of the General Council by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt and dispatched, by the deadline set for the submission of applications, to Escola Básica Infante D. Pedro, Avenida Infante D. Pedro, n.º 1, 3230-277 Penela.

The aforementioned request will have to be accompanied, necessarily, of the following documents (delivered in a sealed envelope) under penalty of exclusion:

  • Detailed Curriculum Vitae, A current, dated, and signed resume, detailing current professional status, job functions, professional training, and specific training received, containing all relevant information and accompanied by supporting documentation for all data included in the resume;
  • Intervention Project for the School Group, paginated, dated and signed, necessarily containing the identification of problems, the definition of the mission, the goals and the main guidelines for action, as well as the explanation of the strategic plan that the candidate proposes to carry out during the term and its schedule (a maximum of 20 A4 pages, excluding annexes, with 2 cm margins, written in Calibri font, size 12 and 1.5 line spacing);
  • Declaration authenticated by the originating service., which includes the category, the employment status, and the length of service;
  • Declaration authenticated by the originating service., of the length of service in the performance of the duties provided for in subparagraphs b) and c) of paragraph 4 of Article 21 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008 of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012 of July 2;
  • Certified photocopy or certified copy of the document proving academic qualifications e certificates relating to the professional situation;
  • Photocopy, if authorized by the candidate, of the Identity Card and the Taxpayer Card or Citizen Card. If authorization is not granted, the administrative services will take note of the necessary data present in this documentation and verify its authenticity; Notice No. 7741/2026/2 1/2 2nd series No. 67 07-04-2026
  • Declaration of consent for the collection and processing of personal data. for the purposes of the Competitive Procedure, pursuant to point (a) of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Candidates may also indicate any other duly documented elements that they consider relevant for the assessment of their merit.

Documentary proof of the elements contained in the document is mandatory. Curriculum vitae, with the exception of the one that is already filed in the respective School Group where the procedure is taking place.

Evaluation of applications

The evaluation of applications is based on the following procedures:

  • Analysis of Curriculum vitae of the candidate, aiming to assess the skills and merit required to perform the duties of Director;
  • Analysis of the Intervention Project for the School Group presented by the candidate., aiming to assess the relevance of such a project and the coherence between the problems diagnosed, the intervention strategies proposed, and the resources to be mobilized for this purpose;
  • Results of the individual interview conducted with the candidate., which, in addition to delving into the aspects relating to points a) and b) of this paragraph, must assess the motivations for the application and verify whether the rationale for the Intervention Project is appropriate to the reality of the Group, as well as assess, in an interpersonal, objective and systematic way, the skills in relation to the profile required for the position.
