Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Salgueiro Maia School Group – Fazendas de Almeirim, for the four-year period 2026-2030.

It was published in Official Gazette Notice No. 7226/2026/02 , which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of the Salgueiro Maia School Group – Fazendas de Almeirim, Almeirim.

O The procedure takes place over a period of 10 working days., starting from the day following the publication of the notice, and falls within the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.

Requirements and application process

The admission requirements for the competitive procedure are those established in paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law no. 137/2012, of July 2.

The application for admission to the Competitive Procedure is made by application, available in the Administrative Services, as well as in website of the Salgueiro Maia School Group — Fazendas de Almeirim, addressed to the President of the General Council of the same, It can be delivered in person to the Administrative Services of the Salgueiro Maia School Group., Rua Heróis da Independência 14, 2080-558 Fazendas de Almeirim, in a sealed envelope, or sent by registered mail, with acknowledgment of receipt, for the aforementioned services, dispatched before the deadline set.

The application for admission (application form) referred to in the previous paragraph must be accompanied by the following documents, under penalty of exclusion:

Curriculum vitae A detailed, up-to-date, dated, and signed report identifying the functions performed, professional training, and specialized training, duly accompanied by documentary evidence, will not be considered.
Intervention Project in the School Group, In this document, the candidate identifies the problems, defines the mission, goals, and main guidelines for action, as well as outlining the strategic plan to be implemented during the term. The Intervention Project should not exceed 20 pages, written in Arial font size 11 and 1.5 spacing.
Declaration authenticated by the originating service., which includes the candidate's category, employment status, length of service, and most recent performance review.
• Certified photocopy, or certified copy, of the document proof of academic qualifications and certificates relating to professional status;
Declaration of consent for the collection and processing of personal data for the purposes of the Competitive Procedure, in accordance with point (a) of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
Documentary evidence of other elements The information contained in the application, duly documented, that the candidate considers relevant for the assessment of their merit, with the exception of those that are already filed in the respective individual procedure and that procedure is located at the Salgueiro Maia School Group — Fazendas de Almeirim;
Criminal record certificate.

Evaluation of applications

The methods for evaluating applications, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 5 of Article 22-B of Decree-Law No. 75/2008 of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012 of July 2, shall be as follows:

  • Analysis of Curriculum vitae of each candidate, aiming to assess their relevance to the role of Director and their merit;
  • Analysis of the Intervention Project in the school cluster, aiming to assess the relevance of the diagnosed problems and the coherence between these problems and the proposed intervention strategies;
  • Individual interview, aiming to assess the candidate's personal skills and verify whether the rationale for the intervention project is appropriate to the reality of the school cluster.

The lists of admitted and excluded candidates will be posted on the school's website and in an appropriate location within the school, within a maximum of ten working days after the application deadline, and this will be the method of notification for candidates.
