It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 7600/2026/2which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Group of Schools Saint John of Talha, Loures.

In accordance with the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, it is hereby announced that the competition for the position of director of the S. João da Talha School Group, in Loures, is open for a period of 10 working days from the day following the publication of this notice in the Diário da República (Official Gazette).

Requirements and application process

The admission requirements for the competition are those set out in paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 21 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008 of April 22, amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012 of July 2, and those indicated in the specific regulations for the competitive procedure for the position of Director.

Applications must be formalized by means of an application form, available on the website of the S. João da Talha School Group and/or at the Administrative Services of the main school, addressed to the President of the General Council. They may be submitted in person at the Administrative Services of the Main School of the Group, Rua Deputado Pedro Botelho Neves, n.º 19 and 19-A, 2695-722 S. João da Talha, during office hours, or sent to the President of the General Council by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, dispatched before the deadline set for the submission of applications.

The application for admission (application form) referred to in the previous paragraph must be accompanied by the following documents, under penalty of exclusion.:

  • Curriculum vitae A detailed, up-to-date, dated, and signed report must state the functions performed and the professional training possessed, duly documented, otherwise it will not be considered.
  • Intervention Project at the S. João da Talha School Group, with numbered and initialed pages, dated and signed at the end, with original content, not exceeding 14 pages written in Trebuchet MS, size 11 and 1.5 spacing, containing: i) Identification of the problems; ii) Definition of the mission, goals and main guidelines for action; iii) Explanation of the strategic plan to be carried out during the term.
  • Photocopy of the biographical record authenticated by the Administrative Services of the candidate's school of origin, stating the candidate's category, employment status, length of service, and most recent performance evaluation.
  • Certified photocopy, or certificate, of the document proving the academic qualifications and certificates relating to the professional situation;
  • Presentation of the citizen card and of tax identification number, authorized by the person himself.
  • Any other elements, duly proven, considered relevant for the assessment of its merit.
    It is mandatory documentary evidence of the elements constants of request and of Curriculum vitae.

    Evaluation of applications

Applications will be evaluated considering:

  • The analysis of Curriculum vitae, aiming to assess its relevance to the performance of the duties of director and its merit, considering professional experience, professional training and other relevant curricular elements;
  • Analysis of the intervention project in the grouping, aiming to assess the coherence between the diagnosed problems, the proposed intervention strategies and the resources to be mobilized for this purpose, as well as the profile of the management team, taking into account the reality of the school cluster;
  • The result of the individual interview conducted with the candidate.
