Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Gonçalo Mendes da Maia School Group, for the four-year period 2026-2030.
It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 6255_2026_2 , which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Gonçalo Mendes da Maia School Group, Maia.
The procedure runs for a period of 10 working days, starting from the day after the publication of the notice, and falls within the provisions of Article 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.
Requirements and application process
The admission requirements for the competitive procedure are those established in paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law no. 137/2012, of July 2.
Applications must be submitted within 10 working days of the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette, by means of an application form, available at Gonçalo Mendes da Maia Grouping website); and in its administrative services, addressed to the President of the General Council.
They can be delivered in person to the Administrative Services of the Group's Main School during its opening hours or sent to the President of the General Council, by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, dispatched before the deadline set for submitting applications for the Gonçalo Mendes da Maia Group.

The application for admission (application form) referred to in the previous paragraph must be accompanied by the following documents, under penalty of exclusion:
- Curriculum vitae detailed, dated and signed;
- Intervention Project, dated and signed., relating to the grouping that must include identification of problems, definition of the mission, goals and main guidelines for action, as well as an explanation of the strategic plan to be carried out during the term.
- Declaration authenticated by the originating service., where it is stated that category, employment status, and total length of service;
- A declaration, authenticated by the originating services, of the length of service in the performance of the duties foreseen. in points b) and c) of paragraph 4 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008 of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law no. 137/2012, of July 2;
- Certified photocopy, or certified copy, of the document. Proof of academic qualifications and certificates relating to professional status;
- A photocopy, if authorized by the candidate, of identity card/citizen card and taxpayer card If you do not have a citizen card.
Documentary proof of the elements included in the curriculum vitae is mandatory, with the exception of those that are filed in the respective individual file located at the school cluster where the procedure is taking place.
Evaluation of applications
The methods used for selecting candidates are those defined in Article 5 of the Regulations for the election of the director of the Gonçalo Mendes da Maia School Group, available on its website and in the respective Administrative Services, as regulated by Decree-Law No. 75/2008 of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012 of July 2.
