Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Fundão School Group, for the four-year period 2026-2030.
He was published in the Official Gazette Notice No. 7339/2026/02, which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Group of Schools from Fundão.
The procedure takes place through 10 business days deadline, starting from the day following the publication of the notice, and falls within the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.
Requirements and application process
The admission requirements for this competition are those stipulated in paragraphs 3, 4 and 5 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, as currently worded.
The application for admission is formalized by means of a request, addressed to the President of the General Council, using the appropriate form available at group's website or us Administrative Services.
The request can be delivered in person to the Administrative Services of the Main School of the Fundão School Group, until 4:30 PM on the last day, or sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, dispatched up to and including the last day of the period stipulated in this notice.
Applications for admission must be accompanied by the following documentation, otherwise the application will be rejected:
- Curriculum vitae detailed, A dated, signed, and up-to-date statement detailing the functions currently performed or previously performed, and the professional training possessed, duly documented, otherwise it will not be considered.;
- To the documentary evidence of the elements contained in the curriculum, under the terms and conditions set out in paragraph 2 of Article 22-A of Decree-Law No. 75 of 2008 of April 22, as currently worded;
- Intervention Project in the cluster, which must include the identification of the problems, the definition of the mission, the goals and the main guidelines for action, as well as an explanation of the strategic plan to be carried out during the term of office;
- Declaration authenticated by the originating service. where the candidate performs duties that include the category, employment status, grade, and length of service;
- Certified photocopy of document proving academic qualifications..
Candidates may also indicate any other duly proven elements that they consider relevant for the assessment of their merit. Documentary proof of any additional elements submitted by the candidate is mandatory under the terms and conditions established in paragraph 2 of Article 22-A of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, in its current version.
Evaluation of applications
Applications will be evaluated considering:
- A analysis of Curriculum vitae with a view to assessing its relevance to the performance of the duties of Director and its merit;
- A Analysis of the Intervention Project in the School Cluster, including the project's relevance to the school cluster and knowledge of the social, educational, and organizational context it reveals;

- Additional elements provided by the candidates and relevant to the job performance. for competition purposes or to enhance the prestige and reputation of the Group, when duly proven.
The selection method is that stipulated in Article 22-B of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as currently worded, and that stipulated in the Regulations of the Competitive Process for the election of the Director, available on the Group's website and in the Administrative Services.
To the Candidates have the right to request information from the Administrative Services of the Main School of the Fundão School Group., during normal business hours, copy of the Competitive Procedure Regulations.
