Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Aurélia de Sousa School Group, Porto, for the four-year period 2026-2030.

It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 6656/2026/2 which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Group of Schools Aurélia de Sousa, Porto.

The procedure runs for a period of 10 working days, starting from the day after the publication of the notice, and falls within the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.

Requirements and application process

The admission requirements for this competition are those stipulated in paragraphs 3, 4 and 5 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, as currently worded.

Applications are formalized by submitting a request form, available on the website of Aurélia de Sousa School Group (http://ae-aureliadesousa.com/) and in administrative services, at the main school building. It can be delivered in person to the administrative services, between 9:00-13:00 and 14:00-16:00, Monday to Friday, or sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, addressed to the President of the General Council of the Aurélia de Sousa School Group, Rua Aurélia de Sousa, 4000-099 Porto, dispatched by the deadline set for submitting applications.

Applications for admission must be accompanied by the following documentation, in both paper and digital format (PDF, via USB drive), under penalty of exclusion:

The application for admission is formalized by means of a request, addressed to the President of the General Council, using the appropriate form available at group's website or us Administrative Services.

  • Curriculum vitae detailed and up-to-date, accompanied by documentary proof of its elements, with the exception of those that are filed in the respective individual file and this file is located at the Group's Headquarters School;
  • Intervention Project in the School Group, with a maximum of 10 pages, using Arial font, size 11, and 1.5 line spacing, containing the identification of problems, the definition of the mission, goals, and guidelines for action, as well as an explanation of the strategic plan to be carried out during the term of office.
  • Document certified by the originating service., which includes the category, the employment status, and the length of service.
  • Certified photocopy of document proving academic qualifications.;
  • Photocopy authenticated copy of document proving ownership of qualification for the exercise of school administration and management functions;
  • Photocopy, if authorized, of the Citizen Card or the Identity Card and the Taxpayer Identification Number;
  • Photocopy authenticated copies of professional training certificates carried out within the scope of school administration and management, including accreditation registration, such as specialized training. in the Scientific-Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education;

Candidates may also indicate any other duly documented elements that they consider relevant for the assessment of their merit.

Documentary proof of all elements contained in the document is mandatory. curriculum vitae, with the exception of those that are filed in their respective individual files and that files are located in the administrative services of the Aurélia de Sousa School Group.

Evaluation of applications

The methods to be used in evaluating applications are as follows:

  • Analysis of the candidate's Curriculum Vitae., for the purposes of assessing their relevance to the performance of the duties of Director and their merit;
  • Analysis of the intervention project, aiming to assess the relevance of the diagnosed problems and the coherence between these and the proposed intervention strategies;
  • Individual interview with the candidate, aiming to assess the profile and skills required to perform the job for which you are applying.

The criteria to be used in evaluating each of the methods are those referred to in Annexes I, II and III of the “Regulations for the competitive procedure and election of the Director of the Aurélia de Sousa School Group” and which form an integral part thereof. These regulations can be consulted on the Group's website (http://ae-aureliadesousa.com/).
