Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Gago Coutinho Secondary School, Alverca do Ribatejo, Vila Franca de Xira, for the four-year period 2026-2030.
It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 7859/2026/02, which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Headmaster of Gago Coutinho Secondary School, Alverca do Ribatejo, Vila Franca de Xira.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, it is hereby announced that the competition for the position of Director of the Gago Coutinho Secondary School, in Alverca do Ribatejo, is open for a period of 10 working days from the day following the publication of this notice in the Diário da República (Official Gazette).
Requirements and application process
The admission requirements for the competition are those set out in Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.
Applications must be formalized through an application for candidacy, in its own model, available at Gago Coutinho Secondary School website, in Alverca do Ribatejo, andor in the Administrative Services of the same, addressed to the President of the General Council. They can be delivered in person to the Administrative Services of the Gago Coutinho Secondary School, Largo Heróis da Aviação, n.º 3, 2615-205 Alverca do Ribatejo, during office hours, or sent to the President of the General Council by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, dispatched before the deadline set for the submission of applications.
The application for admission (application form) referred to must be accompanied by the following documents, Submission must be in paper format (in a sealed envelope) or in digital format (USB drive), under penalty of exclusion.
- Curriculum vitae detailed, dated, signed and updated;
- Proof of specific training required to perform the duties of Director. in accordance with Decree-Law No. 41/2012 of February 21, Article 56, paragraphs a), b), and c). They must also comply with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 95/1997 of April 23;
- Certificates or other supporting documents of the elements contained in the curriculum vitae, with the exception of those that are already filed in the respective individual file existing at the Gago Coutinho Secondary School;
- Intervention Project at Gago Coutinho Secondary School, in Alverca do Ribatejo, in a document that should not exceed fourteen pages, excluding attachments, A4 size, typed in Trebuchet MS font, size 11, normal margins and 1.5 spacing;
- Photocopy of citizen card, authorized by the person himself;
- Authenticated statement from the originating service., which includes the category, the employment status, and the length of service.
All the aforementioned documentation must be submitted in a sealed envelope, stating the candidate's name and indicating that they participated in a prior competitive recruitment procedure for the election of the Director of the Gago Coutinho Secondary School in Alverca do Ribatejo.
Evaluation of applications
Applications will be evaluated considering:
- Analysis of curriculum vitae, specifically for the purpose of assessing their relevance to the performance of the duties of Director and their merit, considering their specific qualifications, professional training, professional experience and other relevant curricular elements; Notice No. 7859/2026/2 1/2 2nd series No. 68 08-04-2026
- Analysis of the intervention project at Gago Coutinho Secondary School, in Alverca do Ribatejo, at the level of identifying the problems, the proposed mission, the strategies to be implemented, the goals to be achieved and the clarification of the main lines of orientation and action, with relevance and knowledge of the socio-educational context to which it is intended;
- Analysis of the individual interview, in terms of clarifying, deepening and arguing aspects related to the previous paragraphs.
