It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 417920262which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Paredes Secondary School, for the four-year period 2026-2030.

The competitive selection process runs for a period of 10 business days, starting from the day following the publication of the notice, and is governed by the provisions of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, July 2nd.

Requirements and application process

Teachers who meet the requirements stipulated in current legislation and the specific regulations of the competition may apply for the procedure.

The application for admission must be formalized through a request addressed to the President of the General Council of the Paredes Secondary School, and may be submitted in person at the school's administrative offices or sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, within the defined deadline.

The application must be submitted in paper format and accompanied by the required documentation, namely:

• Detailed, dated, signed, and duly verified Curriculum Vitae;

• Intervention Project for the School, including problem identification, definition of mission and goals, as well as a strategic plan for the term (up to 20 pages);

• Certified statement proving category, employment status, and length of service;

• Documents proving academic qualifications and professional status;

• Identification document and declaration of consent for the processing of personal data.

Candidates may also submit other elements that they consider relevant for the assessment of their merit.

Evaluation of applications

The evaluation will be based on three components:

1. Analysis of the Curriculum Vitae;

2. Analysis of the Intervention Project;

3. Individual interview.

The candidate's competencies for the role of Director, the coherence and strategic relevance of the presented project, and the suitability of their profile to the school's reality will be considered.

The provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates will be published at the school and on its website. The final election results will subsequently be submitted for approval by the [relevant authority]. General Directorate of School Administration.
