Context

The Agency for the Management of the Education System, IP (AGSE, IP) promotes a recruitment procedure through mobility within the category, for the filling of 1 (one) job position in the career/category of Senior Technician, to be assigned to the Budget Planning Unit, integrated into the Financial Management Department of School Clusters and Non-Clustered Schools.

Job Description

The job position to be filled is within the Budget Planning Unit, and the employee will be responsible for:

• To guide and support school clusters and non-clustered schools.
  (AE/EñA) within the scope of Budgetary and Financial Management and clarification of
  doubts about matters related to the state budget having in
  taking into account the legislation in force;

• Monitoring the financial and budgetary execution of the AE/EñA;

• To collect and compile the information necessary for the preparation of
  monthly monitoring and reporting reports on budget execution
  Projects and Actions underway in Educational Establishments;

• Collection, through computer tools, of data from
  educational establishments related to expenditure;

• Distribution of allocated funds by Educational Establishment and
  communication of allocations for the operating budget;

• Analysis of processes and requests from AE/EñA within the scope of applications for
  reinforcements or situations that imply new budgetary burdens;

• Register the monthly reports in the Budgetary Entity's online services and
  annual figures, namely Available Funds, Overdue Payments, Units of
  Treasury, Multi-year Charges (SCEP), preparation of RAPs/RNAPs
  (Replacements Not/Not Deducted from Payments) and issuance of the corresponding payment slip.

• To prepare opinions, reports, and explanatory notes regarding the interpretation.

Admission Requirements

Eligible candidates include employees with permanent public employment contracts who possess the appropriate qualifications for the Senior Technician career path and who meet the legal requirements for mobility within the category, in accordance with the General Law on Public Service Employment.
