Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Casquilhos School Group, Barreiro, for the four-year period 2026-2030.

It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 7730/2026/2which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Group of Schools from Casquilhos, Barreiro.

In accordance with Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, it is hereby announced that a common competitive procedure is open for filling the position of Director of the Casquilhos School Group, Barreiro, based at the Casquilhos Secondary School, Quinta dos Casquilhos, 2830-046 Barreiro, within a period of 10 business days starting from the day following the publication of this notice in the Official Gazette.

Requirements and application process

Candidates who meet the conditions established in points 3, 4 and 5 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law no. 137/2012, of July 2, may oppose this competitive procedure.

The formalization of the application is carried out through asubmission of an application for the competitive selection process, in its own model, available at Group's website and us Administrative Services, addressed to the President of the General Council of the Casquilhos School Group, Barreiro.

Applications may be submitted in person, in paper format, to the Administrative Services of the school headquarters of the Group, during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, between 09:30 and 12:00 or between 14:00 and 16:30), or sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, addressed to the President of the General Council, to Escola Secundária de Casquilhos, Quinta dos Casquilhos, 2830-046, Barreiro, dispatched by the deadline set in this Notice.

At the time of submitting and formalizing their candidacy, the candidate must submit the following documentation, under penalty of exclusion:

  • Curriculum vitae A detailed, updated, dated, and signed application, containing all information considered relevant to this application, accompanied by the respective supporting documentation, will be waived for teachers serving in this school cluster on the date of the competitive procedure and whose supporting documents are recorded in their Biographical Register or filed in their individual file;
  • Intervention project The document must include, as a mandatory step, the identification of the Group's problems and the definition of its mission, goals, and main guiding principles for action, as well as an explanation of the strategic plan to be implemented during the term. The document must be dated, initialed on each page, signed at the end, and have a maximum of twenty pages, adhering to the following criteria: Times New Roman font; size 12; 1.5 line spacing; top, bottom, and right margins 2.5 cm, left margin 3 cm;
  • Declaration authenticated by the originating service., which includes the candidate's category, employment status, length of service, and most recent performance review;
  • Certified photocopy of the Biographical Record or a certified copy of the document proving academic qualifications and certificates relating to professional status, unless the candidate's individual file contains this document and is located in the respective Group; Notice No. 7730/2026/2 1/2 2nd series No. 67 07-04-2026
  • Photocopy of citizen card/identity card and of tax identification number duly truncated by the candidate;
  • Criminal Record;
  • Any other elements, duly documented and considered relevant for the assessment of the respective application.

All candidates admitted to the competitive selection process are notified for an individual interview.

Evaluation of applications

In school website, The regulations for the competitive selection procedure and the candidate selection methods are available for consultation.

The Standing Committee assesses the applications in accordance with the provisions of Article 22-B of Decree-Law No. 75/2008 of April 22, as amended and published by Decree-Law No. 137/2012 of July 2, namely:

  • Analysis of Curriculum vitae, for the purposes of assessing its relevance to the performance of the duties of Director and its merit;
  • Analysis of the Intervention Project at the School, aiming to assess the respective relevance and coherence between the diagnosed problems and the proposed intervention strategies;
  • Result of an individual interview This assessment is conducted with the candidate by the Standing Committee, aiming to evaluate their ability to substantiate and defend the proposals presented.

A publication of the result The selection process for this competitive procedure will be carried out using a list of candidates, ordered alphabetically., posted in a visible and public location at Casquilhos Secondary School, Barreiro, and available in Group's website.

All necessary notifications will be made via email. The successful candidate will be notified of the competition results by registered mail with return receipt requested.
