
Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Esmoriz School Group, Ovar Norte, for the four-year period 2026-2030.
It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 8050/2026/2, which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Group of Schools from Esmoriz, Ovar North.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, it is hereby announced that the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of the Esmoriz Ovar Norte School Group, municipality of Ovar, is open for a period of 10 working days from the day following the publication of this notice in the Diário da República (Official Gazette).
Requirements and application process
Formal applications must be submitted by means of a formal application form, available at [website address]. Group's website and at the Group's Administrative Services, addressed to the President of the General Council of the Esmoriz Ovar Norte School Group, and may be delivered in person to the Administrative Services of the Group's "headquarters school" — Esmoriz Secondary School, Rua da Casela, 3885-451 Esmoriz, during normal office hours or sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, dispatched before the deadline set for applications.
The application for this competition must be accompanied by the following documents, otherwise the application will be disqualified:
- Curriculum vitae detailed, dated, signed and updated;
- The documentary evidence of the elements contained in curriculum vitae;
- Intervention project for the Esmoriz school cluster. North Ovar;
- A declaration authenticated by the Administrative Services where the candidate works., which includes the category, the employment relationship, the length of service, the salary grade and the academic qualifications (except if the individual file is located at the Esmoriz Ovar Norte School Group);
- Candidates may also indicate other elements, duly proven, that they consider relevant for assessing its merit.
All submitted documents must be paginated (page x of y) and initialed.
Evaluation of applications
The Specialized Committee assesses each admitted application, taking into account the following:
- A analysis of curriculum vitae, aiming to assess its relevance to the performance of the Director's duties and its merit;
- A analysis of the intervention project, aiming to assess the relevance and coherence between the diagnosed problems, the proposed intervention strategies, and the resources to be mobilized for this purpose;
- O result of the individual interview conducted with the candidate.
