
Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Portel School Group.
It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice 6772_2026_02, which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Portel School Group.
The procedure runs for a period of 10 working days, starting from the day after the publication of the notice, and falls within the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.
Requirements and application process
The admission requirements for the competition are those established in points 3 and 4 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law no. 137/2012, of July 2.
Applications submitted by teachers with the profile referred to in points b), c) and d) of paragraph 4 of Article 21 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, in its current wording, will only be considered if there are no applications, or if they are insufficient due to failure to meet the legal admission requirements for the competition, that meet the requirements set out in point a) of paragraph 4 of Article 21.
The application for admission to the competitive procedure is made by means of a request, using the appropriate form available at [website address]. Group's website and in the administrative services of the school headquarters of the Group, addressed to the President of the General Council, accompanied by a declaration of consent for the processing of personal data.
The application referred to in the previous paragraph must be accompanied by the following documents, under penalty of exclusion:
- Curriculum vitae detailed, dated, and signed candidate information. on every page, training
Academic, professional and specialized experience, teaching experience and experience in school administration and management; accompanied by documentary proof of the elements contained in the curriculum; - Intervention Project in the School Group, Dated and signed on every page, this document must identify problems, define the mission, goals, and guidelines for action, as well as explain the strategic plan to be implemented during the term of office at the Portel School Group; it must have a maximum of fifteen pages, Arial font, size 11, and 1.5 spacing.
- Authenticated statement from the originating service., indicating category, affiliation, rank and time.

Documentary proof of the elements included in the curriculum vitae is mandatory, with the exception of those that are filed in the respective individual file located at the school cluster where the procedure is taking place.
The application and its attachments may be submitted in person to the Group's administrative services, until the deadline set, during normal office hours, in a sealed envelope, or may be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, dispatched by the deadline set for the submission of applications, addressed to the President of the General Council, at Agrupamento de Escolas de Portel, located at Rua de S. Paulo s/n, 7220 — 401 Portel.
Evaluation of applications
Applications are evaluated by a committee specifically appointed for this purpose.
by the General Council. The committee proceeds with the evaluation of applications, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 5 of article 22 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law no. 137/2012, of July 2, using the following methods:
- Analysis of curriculum vitae of each candidate, aiming to assess its relevance to the performance of director duties and its merit;
- Analysis of the intervention project at the Portel School Group, with the aim of evaluating its relevance and suitability to the Group's reality, as well as identifying its mission, goals and guidelines, the coherence between the diagnosed problems, the proposed intervention strategies and the resources to be mobilized for this purpose;
- Results of the individual interview conducted with the candidate.
