Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Carregal do Sal School Group.

It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 5174_2026_2 which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Carregal do Sal School Group.

The procedure runs for a period of 10 business days, starting from the day following the publication of the notice, and falls within the provisions of articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, July 2nd.

Requirements and application process

The admission requirements for the competitive selection process are those established in paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, in its current wording.

They can apply tenured teachers in the public education system or qualified teachers with permanent contracts in private and cooperative education systems., with at least five years of service and qualifications to perform school administration and management functions.

Applications must be formalized by application, in a proprietary model made available at group's website and in the administrative services of the main school building, addressed to the President of the General Council.

Applications can be submitted in person at the administrative offices of the Carregal do Sal Secondary School, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, or sent by registered mail with return receipt requested to:

Dispatched before the deadline.

The application must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Detailed curriculum vitae, updated, dated and signed, indicating the functions performed, professional training and specialized training;

  • Intervention Project for the Grouping, including identifying the problems, defining the mission, goals and broad guidelines for action, as well as the strategic plan to be developed during the term. (maximum of 15 pages, including attachments);

  • Other duly documented elements that the candidate considers relevant for the assessment of their merit.

Documentary proof of the elements included in the application is mandatory, with the exception of those already filed in the candidate's individual file at the school..

Evaluation of applications

The evaluation of applications is carried out by General Council, in accordance with what is established in Article 22-B of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, in the wording of your current wording.
