
Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of João de Meira School Group, Guimarães
It was published in the Official Gazette., Notice No. 13699/2026/2, which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the João de Meira School Group, Guimarães.
In accordance with the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, in the current version published as an annex to Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, it is hereby announced that the competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the João de Meira School Group, municipality of Guimarães and district of Braga, is open for a period of 10 working days, starting from the day following the publication of this notice in the Diário da República (Official Gazette).
Admission requirements
The admission requirements for the competition are those set out in Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.
The application must be formalized by means of a request, using the appropriate form, available at [website address]. Group's website, or at the Administrative Services of the school headquarters of the Group, addressed to the president of the General Council of the João de Meira School Group, and may be delivered in person on paper, in a sealed envelope, to the Administrative Services of the school headquarters of the Group, or sent by registered mail, with acknowledgment of receipt, dispatched by the deadline set, to the attention of the President of the General Council, to Rua Calouste Gulbenkian, 4810-257, Guimarães.
Formalization of the candidacy
The application for admission to the competition must be accompanied by the following documents, otherwise it will be excluded:
- Curriculum vitae detailed, dated and signed on every page, containing all the information considered relevant for this purpose and accompanied by all the authenticated documentary evidence;
- Intervention Project relating to the Grouping from João de Meira Schools;
- Authenticated statement from the originating service., which includes the category, the type of employment, and the length of service.

- Photocopy of document proving possession of qualification. for the performance of duties

Candidates may also indicate any other duly documented elements that they consider relevant to the assessment of their merit.
Evaluation of applications
The following methods will be applied to evaluate applications:
- Analysis of curriculum vitae in terms of its relevance to the performance of the duties of a director and its merit;
- Professional experience — Effective service time rendered up to August 31, 2025;
- Experience in school administration roles;

- Personal and Professional Development;
- Analysis of the intervention project at the João de Meira School Group;
- Interview analysis.
