Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of Fernão Mendes Pinto Secondary School, Almada.

It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 8258, which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Fernão Mendes Pinto Secondary School, Almada.

In accordance with the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, it is hereby announced that the competitive procedure for filling the position of director of the Fernão Mendes Pinto Secondary School is open for a period of ten working days, starting from the day following the publication of this notice in the Official Gazette.

Requirements and application process

The application for admission to the competition is formalized by means of a request addressed to the President of the General Council, using the appropriate form available at [website address]. School Group's website and in the Administrative Services, and must be accompanied by the following documents, under penalty of exclusion:

• Curriculum vitae detailed, dated, signed and up-to-date, stating respectively the functions performed and the professional training possessed;
  • Intervention Project for the School Group containing:
  • Identifying problems;
  • Defining the mission, goals, and main guidelines for action;
  • A clear explanation of the strategic plan to be implemented during the term of office.
• Authenticated statement from the originating service., which includes the category, the employment status, and the length of service;
• Photocopy of document proving academic qualifications.;
• Photocopy of document proving qualification to perform school administration and management functions.;

Candidates may also indicate any other duly documented elements that they consider relevant for the assessment of their application.

Documentary proof of the documents listed is mandatory. curriculum vitae, with the exception of those that are filed in their respective individual files and that files are located in the administrative services of the Fernão Mendes Pinto Secondary School in Almada.

Evaluation of applications

The methods for evaluating applications are as follows:

• Analysis of Curriculum vitae of the candidate, taking into account their relevance to the performance of the duties of director and their merit;
• Analysis of the Intervention Project in the School Cluster;
• Appreciation of individual interview.
