Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Sampaio School Group, Sesimbra, for the four-year period 2026-2030. 

He was published in the Official Gazette Notice 7336/2026/02which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of Group of Schools Sampaio – Sesimbra.

The procedure takes place through 10 business days deadline, starting from the day following the publication of the notice, and falls within the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.

Requirements and application process

Applications must be formalized by means of a request, in a proprietary model made available at group's website or us administrative services, Addressed to the President of the General Council of the Sampaio School Group, It can be delivered in person to the main school's office., Sampaio Secondary School, Rua dos Casais Ricos, Sampaio, 2970-577, Sesimbra, or sent by registered mail with return receipt requested, issued before the deadline set for the submission of applications.

The application for admission (application form) referred to in the previous paragraph must be accompanied by the following documents, under penalty of exclusion:

  • Curriculum vitae A detailed, dated, signed, and up-to-date document detailing the functions performed and the professional training held;
  • Certificates or other documents proving the elements contained in the curriculum vitae;
  • Intervention project with a maximum of 20 pages, numbered and initialed, and containing the following elements:
    • Identifying problems;
    • Defining the mission, goals, and main guidelines for action;
    • Explicit statement of the strategic plan to be implemented during the term of office;
  • Authenticated statement from the originating service., which includes the category, the employment status, and the length of service;
  • Document proving academic qualifications;
  • Document proving possession of qualification for the exercise of school administration and management functions;
  • Photocopy of Citizen Card;
  • Criminal record;
  • Declaration of consent for the Sampaio School Group to use the facilities. collect and process personal data.

The aforementioned documents must be submitted in paper and electronic format, in PDF format (sent to comissaoespecializadadoconselhogeral@esec-sampaio.net), except for a photocopy of the Citizen Card.

Evaluation of applications

The methods for evaluating applications, according to Article 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008 of April 22, amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012 of July 2, are as follows:

  • A analysis of curriculum vitae of each candidate, Specifically for the purpose of assessing their relevance to the performance of the duties of director and their merit, the following will be considered: academic qualifications; specific qualifications for the performance of administrative and management functions in public education establishments; teaching service time; professional experience in the area of school management; training and professional development activities relevant to the position of director; positions held; communications, publications and projects in the field of education.
  • A analysis of the intervention project at the Sampaio School Group, aiming, in particular, to assess the coherence between the diagnosed problems and the proposed intervention strategies; their relevance and pertinence, their suitability to the Educational Project, the coherence between the diagnosis, the goals and the proposed intervention strategies, as well as the respective schedule and the resources to be mobilized for this purpose will be considered.
  • O result of the individual interview conducted with the candidates, In order to assess the relationship between skills and the requirements of the position, the following dimensions will be considered: leadership and strategic vision; knowledge of the requirements inherent to the director's position; ability to express oneself and communicate; personal motivation to perform the duties of the AES director; knowledge of the specific school context of the AES.

The lists of admitted and excluded candidates for the competition will be posted at the Group's headquarters, Sampaio Secondary School, within a maximum of 5 working days after the deadline for submitting applications, and also published, within the same period, on the Group's website, these being the only forms of notification for candidates.
