Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of Braga West School Group

It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 10172/2026, which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Braga Oeste School Group.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended.
The current notice published as an annex to Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, makes public that the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of the Braga Oeste School Group is open for a period of 10 (ten) working days from the day following the publication of this notice in the 2nd series of the Diário da República.

Requirements

Those who may oppose this competitive procedure include tenured public school teachers or
Professionally qualified teachers, with permanent contracts, from private and cooperative schools, in both cases with at least 5 (five) years of service and qualifications to perform school administration and management functions.

Those considered qualified to perform school administration and management functions are those who
Teachers who meet one of the conditions set out in points a), b), c) or d) of paragraph 4 of Article 21 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, in the current version published as an annex to Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.

Applications submitted by teachers with the profile referred to in points b), c)
ed) of paragraph 4 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, are only considered in the absence or insufficiency, due to non-fulfillment of legal admission requirements for the competition, of applications that meet the requirements set out in subparagraph a) of paragraph 4 of article 21.

Formalization of the candidacy

The application for admission to the competitive procedure is formalized by means of a request, addressed to the President of the General Council, using the appropriate form provided. on the website of the Braga Oeste School Group  and in its administrative services.

The application for the competitive selection process must be accompanied by the following documents, under penalty of exclusion:

Curriculum vitae, detailed, dated, signed and up-to-date;

Intervention Project for the School Group;

Authenticated statement from the originating service;

Any other duly proven elements considered relevant to the assessment of its merit.

The application and its attachments may be submitted in person to the Group's administrative services, until the deadline set, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, or may be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, dispatched by the deadline set for the submission of applications, addressed to the President of the General Council, at Agrupamento de Escolas de Braga Oeste, located at Largo João Martins de Oliveira, n.º 5, 4705-769 Cabreiros.

Evaluation of applications

A analysis of Curriculum vitae of each candidate;

A Analysis of the Intervention Project in the School Cluster;

O result of the individual interview conducted with the candidate.
