Teachers who, between September 1, 2023, and August 31, 2024, were in the 7th, 8th, or 9th pay grades, in accordance with paragraphs 3, 5, and 6 of Article 3 of Decree-Law No. 74/2023 of August 25, are entitled to a one-year reduction in the length of service required for remaining in that pay grade. This service time (365 days) must be deducted from the service time to be recovered, regardless of whether the teachers have already benefited from this reduction or not.
