
Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the João de Barros School Group, Seixal.
It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice 6472_2026_02, which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of João de Barros School Group, Seixal, for the four-year period of 2026-2030.
The procedure runs for a period of 10 working days, starting from the day after the publication of the notice, and falls within the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2.
Requirements and application process
The admission requirements for the competitive procedure are those established in paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 21 of Decree-Law no. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law no. 137/2012, of July 2.
Applications must be submitted within 10 working days of the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette, by means of an application form, provided João de Barros School Group website and us administrative services, addressed to the president of the General Council of the João de Barros School Group.
They can be delivered in person to the Group's Administrative Services between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm, in a sealed envelope, or sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to the address provided. João de Barros School Group:

Issued before the deadline for applications, containing the following inscription: "Prior competitive recruitment procedure for the director of the João de Barros School Group — Candidate's name".
The application for admission (application form) referred to in the previous paragraph must be accompanied by the following documents, under penalty of exclusion:
- Curriculum vitae detailed, dated and signed;
- Intervention Project, In the João de Barros School Group, Seixal, identifying its potential and problems, defining its mission, goals and main guiding principles for action, as well as explaining the strategic plan to be carried out during the term of office. This document should not exceed 25 pages in Times New Roman 12 font, 1.5 line spacing, and may be supplemented with any relevant annexes. It should be submitted in paper and digital format (PDF, pen drive).
- Declaration of honor, stating the absence of impediments to assuming the position, using the appropriate form available on the João de Barros School Group website and in the administrative offices.
- Declaration of informed consent for the collection and processing of personal data for the purposes of
of the Competitive Procedure, in a specific form available on the João de Barros School Group website and in the administrative offices.
Documentary proof of the elements included in the curriculum vitae is mandatory, with the exception of those that are filed in the respective individual file located at the school cluster where the procedure is taking place.
Evaluation of applications
The methods used for this are as follows:
- Analysis of curriculum vitae of each candidate, specifically for evaluation purposes.
its relevance to the performance of the duties of a director and its merit; - Analysis of the intervention project at the João de Barros School Group, Seixal;
- The result of individual interview conducted with the candidate.
