Opening of a competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of Gabriel Pereira School Group, Évora

It was published in the Official Gazette. Notice No. 7857/2026 which determines the opening of the competitive procedure prior to the election of the director of the Gabriel Pereira School Group, Évora.

In accordance with the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, and with
the changes introduced by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, and in Article 5 of the Ordinance
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Decree No. 604/2008 of July 9, that the competitive procedure prior to the election of the Director of the Gabriel Pereira School Group in Évora is open for a period of 10 working days, starting from the day following the publication of this notice in the Official Gazette, 2nd series.

Admission requirements

The admission requirements for the competition are those set out in points 3, 4 and 5 of article 21.
Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2:
– Career teachers in the public education system may oppose the competitive selection process.
or qualified teachers with permanent contracts in private and cooperative education, in both cases with at least five years of service and qualifications to perform school administration and management functions.

– They are considered qualified to perform school administration and management functions.
Teachers who meet one of the following conditions:
a) They hold specific qualifications for this purpose, in accordance with points b) and c) of
No. 1 of Article 56 of the Statute of the Teaching Career of Early Childhood Educators and Teachers of Basic and Secondary Education;
b) Possess experience corresponding to at least one full term in the exercise of
positions of director, deputy director or assistant director, president or vice-president of the executive board, executive director or assistant executive director or member of the board of directors and/or executive board, under the terms of the regimes approved respectively by Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, and as amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012, of July 2, by Decree-Law No. 115-A/98 of May 4, amended by Decree-Law No. 75/2008, of April 22, by Law No. 24/99, of April 22, by Decree-Law No. 172/91, of May 10, and by Decree-Law No. 769-A/76, of October 23;
c) Possess at least three years of experience as a director or pedagogical director of a private or cooperative educational establishment.

Application

Formal application must be submitted in writing.
The application for this purpose, as provided for in Article 22-A of Decree-Law No. 75/2008 of April 22, amended by Decree-Law No. 137/2012 of July 2, must be submitted to the administrative services of the Main School, addressed to the President of the General Council, and must be accompanied by the following documents in paper format, under penalty of exclusion:

• Curriculum vitae, detailed, numbered, dated, signed, updated, and the functions performed;
• Intervention Project for the School Group;
• Authenticated statement from the originating service., which includes the category, type of employment, and length of service.
  service record and the candidate's two most recent performance reviews;
• Photocopy of the document proving qualification to perform the duties. of school administration and management;
• Photocopies of documents proving all academic qualifications.;
• Declaration of consent for the collection and processing of data.

Candidates may also indicate any other duly documented elements that
consider them relevant for assessing their merit.

Evaluation of applications

The selection method is defined in the Regulations for the Election of the Director of the Gabriel Pereira School Group, available at [link/website address]. Group's website and in the respective administrative services of the Main School, namely:

• Analysis of the Curriculum Vitae;
• Analysis of the Intervention Project in the School Cluster;
• The result of the individual interview.
